What a perfect spring-time wedding… we still hadn’t gotten over ogling the gorgeous, full, perfectly pink blooms used for this wedding when they were in our studio, so we had to share the pictures as soon as we saw! Lorraine Daley’s pictures of it all may make you want to change your plan and aim for a spring wedding The peonies and ranunculus in the bouquets are to die for… add some hand-wired brooches and you get this fluffy romantic bouquet with a touch of whimsy! And how about that ceremony decor… it is amazing how fresh and natural it made the Curtis Center feel. Who said you can’t bring the outdoors in??? Enjoy!

Today we are showing you a wedding at the lovely Philadelphia Country Club where we brought the outdoors inside! Soft pastel-colored blooms in shades of peach, yellow, and white had accents of green amaranthus for that extra touch of “romantic garden”. The room was perfectly lit and we even brought in some additional trees to soften the room and create that dinner garden party feel. We hope you enjoy the pictures by JDN Photography!

We would like to wish everyone a Happy Passover and Happy Easter by posting this beautiful centerpiece inspiration we just created! A palette of lovely spring colors brings this arrangement to life…. the mix of blue tweedia, amaranthus, seeded eucalyptus and coxcomb accent the “pink perfection” ranunculus and fringe-edged double tulips so well! Wedding Wednesday: Birds of a Feather

The saying goes “Birds of a feather flock together”, and we couldn’t think of a more perfect way to describe Lindsay and Chris! Their unique style and vision for their wedding made us over-the-top excited to help them execute every little detail just the way they had imagined. With loose colorful floral bursts, feather accents, woodsy elements mixed with truly vintage containers of all shapes and sizes, wallpaper of all patterns and colors, and of course some owl and bird details throughout….. how could you not love this home-y, yet oh-so-interesting wedding from start to finish?! Every table featured its own unique tablescape, patterned wallpaper (that just so happened to coordinate with your bookmark escort card!), and textural groupings of flowers such as rich purple hydrangea, bright yellow yarrow and craspedia, blue thistle, and even succulents! We can’t stop staring at all of the wonderful detail shots by Joy Moody Photography…. they are endless!

Macy’s Flower Show 2012 Update

As promised, below is a picture of our Bouquet of the Day at the Macy’s Flower Show this year! It is a combination of white cattleya orchids, seeded eucalyptus, and over ten different varieties of anthurium. Beautiful Blooms created a waterfall effect with the different shapes and colorings of anthurium to show off just how beautiful the softer side of tropical flowers can be. We hope you enjoy!

We’re Featured: Macy’s Flower Show 2012

Hi All! Starting today through Saturday, come check us out at Macy’s in Center City to see our Bouquet of the Day. This year’s theme is Brazil and we have created a wonderfully tropical design for your viewing pleasure! We incorporated some cattleya orchids — the national flower — but focused on varieties of anthurium in all shapes, sizes, and colors! Please stop by and take a peek and for those of you who aren’t able to, we will be sure to post some pictures!

Wedding Wednesday: Organic Backyard Celebration

This Wedding Wednesday we are taking you to a private residence in Malvern where one of our clients hosted the wedding celebration for their son and new daughter-in-law! The couple wanted an organic, natural feeling with a mix of interesting flowers in all shades of yellow, gold, and orange (with some interesting green and plum foliage!). We made sure to carry the unique blend of flowers throughout the event by accenting everything from the main entrance to the poolside fountain. Using props such as birdcages, watering cans, and terrarium-like lanterns, we were able to achieve the eclectic, yet perfectly-styled look Martin and Nicole so desired for their wedding!
