We hope not because we’ve got yet another installment of loveliness for you this fine morning.  We thought this beautiful wedding captured by Cliff Mautner at the Lafayette Ballroom would be just the thing.  Our bride Juliya asked us to design an event that was soft and sweet and we added a touch of glamour with strands of crystals, pearls and big white ostrich feathers.  The final result? We start off with a sleek bouquet of hydrangea, parrot tulips, and calla lilies in deep shades of red wrapped in funky black and red striped silky dupioni… a great way to give flowers, but a little more personalized than a standard arrangement! We know candlelight always sets the mood… we just added some tinted red votives to give us a splash of red in this modern setting. The centerpiece lines both sides of the table with a garden-like arrangement of ranunculus, parrot tulips, and red anemones that appear to be growing out of the deep red hydrangea base. With a simple black and red place setting, your table is set and ready to entertain! Marie Labbancz shot these great pictures at the very mod Tendenza in Northern Liberties… we hope you enjoy and have a great evening of your own!

With fluffy flowers and branches galore, there are many ways to achieve a look that is as white and serene as the season and makes you want to cuddle up in front of a roaring fire. Centerpieces or decor with branches seem to be all the rage right now, but we can’t help but love the snowy look that the oversized puffs of babies breath give the room shown below. Happy Monday!
