Friday Feature: Neon Pink + White + Silver

Our Bat Mitzvah girl and her Mom asked us to design a modern neon party in white, silver and pink with a hint of bling. We designed multiple looks incorporating white flowers including amaryllis, calla lilies and phalenopsis orchids. Some of the designs included beautiful rhinestone bands around the vases and crystal beaded hurricanes which added sparkle to the room. Tall designs featured silver glitter roses and dripping orchids and modern white vases.

To add just a pop of color, neon pink napkins were at every place setting and the kids table featured a neon table linen as well as neon vases wrapped with rhinestone bands. The whole room read white with just pops of neon and silver for a dramatic, elegant feel. Pinspot lighting finished off the designs and added a hint of color to the gorgeous white flowers.

We had so much fun designing Hannah’s Bat Mitzvah!

Wedding Wednesday: Bride and Groom’s Best Friend

As many of you know I am a dog lover so I just couldn’t resist featuring this Wedding today on our blog.

Our Bride and Groom just couldn’t leave their pug, Stella, out of their Wedding Day so they decided to include her in their Bridal Party Shots. Lucky Girl! Stella’s image was even incorporated into the Wedding Day design in the ice sculpture. These little touches really personalize your Wedding Day!

It’s that time of year, now, when all the flowers are sprouting from the ground and the parks and gardens look beautiful again. One of my favorite things about spring is the mix of different types of flowers and foliage that I see around me.

Wedding Wednesday: Garden Party by the Water

This garden inspired Wedding was all about soft color, texture and the details. Postcard escort cards were placed inside vintage shutter slats surrounded by a floral garden. The clear top tent was filled with a mix of different floral designs including silver estate pieces filled with ranunculus, peonies, thistle and seeded eucalyptus and tall silver candleholders embedded in floral rings.

To add an additional garden flair to the tent, softly lit trees were placed around the perimeter along with hanging rings of greenery. There was even a lounge where guests could relax and soak in the view.

The money dance was incorporated into the days events, in keeping with the Bride’s Greek Heritage. Doesn’t it look fun?!

What a wonderful relaxing evening, by the water, was had by all!

Friday Feature: Let There Be Light

Lighting, whether it be candlelight, chandeliers, pinspot lighting, textured wall washes, light up tables or chinese lanterns all add the finishing touch to an event. Candlelight can add romance and chinese lanterns light and color to a Wedding or Bar or Bat Mitzvah. Draping with patterned lighting can transition a room into a starry night or a winter wonderland. Will lighting enhance your event? Can you imagine Vegas without lighting? It just wouldn’t be the same. Let there be light!

Wedding Wednesday: Lamp Lit

Purple, White and Silver is a color combination that definitely makes as statement. You’ll see it throughout this blog post from flowers to lighting to socks. Yes, even socks!

We started with beautiful white roses and paired them with purple lisianthus and picasso calla lilies throughout the bridal party. For the ceremony the aisle was lined in candlelight and paired with submerged orchids in white and purple topped with lampshades glowing from within and finished with a rouched fabric arch bathed in white light.

The reception was filled with purple light, uplighting and chandeliers, to add great impact to the lit lampshade designs and tall centerpieces of white hydrangea and roses.

We are absolutely in love with this beautiful short film produced by our friends at lucidmuse featuring the newly renovated Down Town Club! Wedding Wednesday: Modern Garden + Bold Color

When I found out that the Hamilton Garden was being renovated and would soon be able to be used year round I jumped for joy! I’ve always loved this unique space with city views tucked inside of the Kimmel Center. We worked on the very first Wedding at the newly renovated space and have continued to design beautiful events as unique as the space.

The color palette of fuschia and purple paired with gold worked beautifully in the raw space. For the Ceremony Backdrop we designed a structure of flowing ribbons and garlands of orchids. Gold ribbons added the elegant touch to the macarons as well as all of the vessels for the reception.

Friday Feature: Spotlight on The Down Town Club

There has been much talk about the newly renovated venue, The Down Town Club, with the beautiful city views. Beautiful Blooms thrilled to design the decor and florals for the open house at the venue held last week. We wanted to play up the architectural elegance of the space along with making the most of the light from the multiple windows.

Beautiful ribbed crystal vases, glass urns and candlelabras were the basis for our designs created from feather tulips, french tulips, delphinium, phalenopsis orchids, hydrangea and roses. We layered candlelight into the designs to add twinkle into the room.
