Today we’re featuring the beautiful wedding of Lindsay and Mike. They were married on June 6, 2009 at the Bedford Springs Resort in Bedford, PA. Special thanks to Photographer Laura Novak for capturing this fantastic event and sending all these magnificent photos our way!
Lindsay carried a hand-tied bouquet of ivory peonies, green coxcomb, white ornithogalum, tuberose, pale pink astilbe, seeded eucalyptus, blueberry foliage, godetia and fiddleheads. It was such a lovely combination of textures.
Mike’s boutonniere was especially cute with the little brown fiddlehead in it.
We all love our pooches here at Beautiful Blooms so when Lindsay and Mike requested something special for their two dogs we couldn’t resist.
The ceremony outside on the lawn couldn’t have been prettier. For an sweet, rustic look the couple chose to use our two antique doors with flowers on top for the backdrop of their ceremony. There were also four standing pieces with pink linen “curtains” and florals on top flanking either side of the chairs. It made the space so much more intimate even though it was outside. Innove was the Event Planner for the day.
The reception, which was inside, featured mixed high and low centerpieces that were loose, lush and gardeny.
