I was so excited when a past client, Amy, called and asked us to do her son’s Bar Mitzvah. We had done her daughter’s Bat Mitzvah a few years before this and it had been great working with Amy. She always has wonderful ideas but is also open to our creativity.

Charlie’s Bar Mitzvah was held at the Inn at the Penn just as Sophie’s had been. Everyone there was a pleasure to work with the last time and equally so this time. Jonathan from Studio Nine Photography joined the team again and we were excited knowing that he would truly capture all the details.

The kids area was a whole N.Y. Giants theme. We worked with Amy to create a tailgating area for the kids complete with blow up furniture, folding stadium chairs, tents, large blow up football players and also a tailgating sign which we designed with Two Paper Dolls. Blue lighting added the accent to the area along with stadium designed food.

The place card table had a large arrangement made of cherry blossom, calla lilies, anthirium, tulips and grasses. This arrangement was placed on top of an astroturf football field that we created.

Amy made her own football place cards in keeping with the feel of the Bar Mitzvah.

The adult area had an industrial and modern feel in white, silver, grey and green.

The overlays on the dinner tables were pigskin to give a tiny hint of the football theme that was used in the kids area. Grey sculpted chairs completed the look. There were three different unique centerpieces. We combined all different elements in the centerpieces such as chicken wire, metal lampshades, silver stones and striped taper candles.

Amy had some fun favor packaging.

We wish Amy and her family much much happiness and look forward to a time when our paths will cross again.
