A Red, Black and Modern Bar Mitzvah

This past December, Beautiful Blooms was fortunate enough to work on a three day Bar Mitzvah with a wonderful family in New York. We created the Red, Black and Modern Bar Mitzvah at the Pearl River Hilton in Upstate New York.

We arrived on a wintery Thursday to begin the set up at the Pearl River Hilton, excited about all that we would be creating for the weekend of events. Several times throughout each day we created different looks and color stories for such events as the check in table, candle lighting, service, light lunch, first night dinner and so much more.

The final evening party was so amazing. I am really proud of my whole team and our “friends” that helped us achieve our goals such as VU Events and Jersey Street Furniture. The color palette was red, black and white with a modern feel. Below you will see some of the photos.

This is one shot of the place card table. It was a series of red light up pedestals mixed with black, black and white textured and glass containers. Vases were filled with red flowers with hanging black and red crystals for a chic look. Red lighting was chosen by us for maximum impact and created by VU-Events.

Here is a room shot! This shot really shows how lighting and all the little details can truly transform a ballroom into an entirely different room. Half of the tables in the room were made out of plexi and the other half had black or red matte satin linens on them.

Here is another shot showing clusters of red roses leaping out of tall cylinder vases. The table was finished off with colored drinking glasses, charger plates and a black and white patterned napkin. red-room-shot-2

This was a similar look but with white roses.

This shot showed the mirror image we created by hanging red carnation balls from chandelier crystals enclosed in a cage.

I love how this event turned out and so did the family. Enjoy the photos.
