This Friday, we are putting the spotlight on Vie, the Cescaphe Event Group’s newest venue located at 600 North Broad Street. Vie quickly signed on to the list of few venues in the city able to accommodate corporate and social events with large guest counts; it can seat up to 600 for dinner or offers space for up to 1200 to comfortably mingle amongst the different areas throughout the venue. What makes Vie stand out is how it offers the traditional space (both cocktail hour foyer and 10,000 square foot ballroom) with a unique and modern flair. Aside from the fact that it is extremely well laid out, you will continuously take note of all of the interesting details throughout — from the modern white chandeliers, to patterned carpet in different shades of blue, to the impeccable (and grand!) bar displays, and even the custom-made champagne tower! There are also multiple options to help you personalize your event, from their in-house lounge furniture (which you can set up wherever you would like!), to the moving graphics framing either side of the stage (which can be personalized to any color, design — even monograms– that you want!) and even using their rotating sweetheart table (yes, we are serious!).
We had such a great time designing their first open house, which showcased the venue to couples who had booked the venue prior to finishing construction. We went all out with whites and the flowers were certainly the talk of the night! We used amaryllis, peonies, ranunculus, and garden roses to create the three different centerpieces. Our large tall arrangements stood on a square of fluffy white flowers, the low arrangements were so full and lush (and smelled delicious), and the rectangular table decor featured tall pewter candleholders with the center of the table lined with mirrored containers. We also placed a fresh floral napkin accent at each place setting because we just couldn’t help ourselves! We hope you love these fabulous pictures by Phil Kramer just as much as we do — all the couples getting married in 2012 were just so ecstatic about how fabulous Vie looked!
