You know that we love a good excuse to throw a party and what better time of year! We wanted to show you how any home can be transformed into a fun, festive, and beautiful holiday affair that will have your guests just as excited for the next time you entertain as you will be.
Welcome to our holiday cocktail soiree…
We wanted to show you how we went from inspiration to fabulous get-together, so see our inspiration board below! We chose a color palette of coral, blush pink, silver, and of course some accents of good ol’ garland greenery.
Now that you’ve seen our inspiration pieces for the event, we hope you enjoy ALL the pictures below!
When guests arrived, they were greeted with tons of little pink lights, a cozy outdoor seating area, an ice bar with three festive holiday drinks (that we totally named on our own…. we even created the mint chocolate recipe ourselves!), an assortment of tasty bites from our favorite STARR restaurants, a fabulous dessert bar that featured Whipped Bakeshop’s goodies, the fluffiest ranunculus and prettiest blush anemones we’ve ever seen, and of course we had the holiday tunes setting the mood! We invited guests to bring donations for Street Tails Animal Rescue — which is opening a location shortly on Liberties Walk — in honor of TJ. But of course, we didn’t let them go home empty-handed… as expected, favors for all! Lovely hand-made coffee sleeves and organic dog treats — all in our fabulous colors. We had such a great time pulling all of these details together and the wonderful pictures by Marie Labbancz truly show them off. Let’s just say we had a great time — period! What better way is there to celebrate friendship and a season of giving other than having a Glitzy Pink Champagne cocktail in one hand and El Vez guacamole and chips in the other?! I just dropped off the dog toy donation at Star- STREET TAILS ANIMAL RESCUE in Northern Liberties and they were thrilled. Totally made me cry but I am honored that so many of my friends all reached out to make a donation in TJ’s honor.
TJ is now in doggie heaven, a place where he can have all the dog treats he wants, but I am now in a place where I can help other animals and try to make their days a little better.
