Last Thursday we had the privilege of designing and attending the Philadelphia Orchestra’s Opening Night Gala! We could not have been more thrilled when we were asked, and the planning and designing process has been such a joy over these past few months. They asked us for a look that was Autumn-themed, but not in the traditional orange and brown color scheme, and definitely no pumpkins in sight! We decided to use two traditional seasonal elements — the color orange and leaves — and make the color palette more interesting and modern by adding bright pops of purple and yellow. We really feel that the tallest of our tall centerpieces — the tree design — really warmed the room up and truly made it feel like you were walking through the woods just as the leaves had changed colors. We created a ring of fresh florals around the base of the trees and accented them with hanging purple votives, which created just the right amount of twinkle as guests entered and panned the room. Opening Night was surely a success, and we have pictures from Natalie of Allure West Studios below to show you! Happy Fall!
