A Weekend for Inspiration

My life is always so busy running Beautiful Blooms Event Planning, Decor and Floral company but I’m trying to take time these days to see the Art! Last month I headed out and enjoyed the Roberto Capucci exhibit at the Philadelphia Museum of Art and I found it so inspiring. The colors, the textures and the tailoring….amazing!

This weekend I’m heading out to the museum again and on my agenda is seeing the Marc Chagall exhibit-Paris through the Window: Marc Chagall and His Circle. I can’t wait to be visually stimulated by this fantastic exhibition. This exhibition includes more than 70 paintings, sculptures, and works on paper by these émigré artists and their French colleagues, all of which were created in a unique atmosphere of mutual encouragement and support in Paris during the early decades of the twentieth century. Interwoven throughout is the story of Chagall’s formative years in the French capital during the 1910s, his return to Russia during World War I and the rise of the Russian Revolution, and the artist’s triumphant return to Paris in the 1920s as a leading figure of the city’s thriving avant-garde.

While I am at the museum I might even stop for a bite to eat at the wonderful Granite Hill restaurant by Stephen Starr.

Have a great weekend everyone and I hope all of you get a chance to get inspired this weekend! It may lead to you painting your walls a color you never thought about or seeing life in a new light.  Inspiration is all around us so take advantage of it!

Art is inspiring… agreed! I didn’t realize there was a Chagall show at the museum right now. I’m going to have to get Jeff to take a day off so that we can take the kids to see it.

    Enjoy!
