Roberto Capucci (Art into Fashion)-Be Inspired!

By Donna on April 28, 2011 | 1 Comment

Before I began Beautiful Blooms Events in 2002, I traveled the world for several Fashion Companies shopping for the latest trends and designing clothing. Having 10 years+ experience in the Fashion industry was easily translated into Fashionable Floral and Event Design with my background in color, texture and design.

I am still always inspired by the latest Fashion Trends and When I heard the Roberto Capucci Exhibit was coming to the Philadelphia Museum of Art, I grabbed a girlfriend and headed over to see it.  It was so amazing to see color in a sea of black fashion these days.  Luckily this Spring and Summer we are seeing more and more color in Fashion but this exhibit knocked you over the head with COLOR, texture and unique fabric treatments and I loved every bit of it. I’m looking forward to us creating lots of colorful EVENTS!

When we Design and Plan events at Beautiful Blooms Events we think about every single detail from the welcome bag when the guests check in to the flatware on the reception tables.  I know color scares some of our clients so sometimes just a hint of color is the way to go for their event. Our clients know we will ALWAYS make their event tasteful no matter what!

I’ve posted a few of my favorite designs for you to see but don’t count on seeing me in any of them anytime soon. As much as I am inspired by them I think they might not fit into my lifestyle right now but who knows what the future brings?

I love how the fabric was pieced together to form these gorgeous striped dresses.

For those of you that know me personally you know that I love butterflies and the below design is called the Butterfly Dress. I can’t imagine wearing it but I sure love it.
