When Rachelle and her mom came to meet with us she told us that she wanted a warm rich elegant wedding and that she did not want to use traditional fall colors. We worked with a beautiful palette of purple, red, burgundy and magenta with accents of gold to create this beautiful wedding at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts.
Maggie Wallace Cullen took all of these gorgeous photos of Rachelle and Vito’s wedding day.

Rachelle’s bouquet was designed with the most beautiful eggplant colored calla lilies. We wrapped her bouquet with a luxurious satin ribbon and a rosary that she had given to us.

This little girl’s face is priceless. The girls all carried beautiful bouquets of all ivory dahlias and buds. The contrast against their eggplant was great.

The bridal party posed for photos on the steps of the Historic Building at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. The guests enjoyed cocktails in this space and then headed to the Hamilton Building for the reception.

Luminaries were placed from the entrance of the Historic Building to the Hamilton Building so the guests knew where they were headed.

As the guests entered the Hamilton Building they were greeted by this beautiful arrangement of autumn hydrangea, rich red roses and deep wine amaryllis. We placed these on a lovely textured eggplant colored linen.

For the centerpieces we created a mix of tall and low designs that worked in the room. This design was placed on a tall glass vase which had stems of callas placed inside of it. The lush arrangement placed on top was a mix of hydrangea, stock, roses and calla lilies.

The low centerpiece was made up of three vases of one flower type. We used hydrangea, roses and tulips for this design which were wrapped in dark burgundy ti leaves.

For the sweetheart table we created two coordinating designs and then the bride placed her bouquet in the center vase. Table numbers and place cards were created by Two Paper Dolls. We provided these easels for everything to be placed on for display purposes.

As an additional accent to all of the tables amethyst champagne flutes were added along with gold charger plates. We added the lavender rose accent to every napkin which finished off the elegant look.

The finishing details always complete the look. These are the things that really set a wedding apart from one another and we love designing them.

The cake was accented with wine colored cymbidium orchids.
Lighting always plays an important part of every event we do and her you can see the lighting that created this warm glow in the room.
