It is always fun when we get to design a second Mitzvah for one of our families. The pressure is always on to see how we can create an event that is even better than the last one we did for the family.
Previously we had created a black, white and green modern Bar Mitzvah (Stephen’s) for this family 3 years ago which was a huge hit. (See photos below) All photos provided by Studio Nine Photography.

We loved the contrast of the black, white and green as it really added punch to the room. This simple color palette was very modern and clean. We used a black vase inside of another black vase for a unique design and kept the flowers simple. It is all about the design of the whole event. This one we created the whole look from the draping to the lighting to the table numbers to the centerpieces.

On the square tables we created this unique tray design with wheat grass, pond rocks and beautiful gardenias. The detail of the black and white check pattern around the wheat grass can be seen which really finished off the look.

We did two long tables amongst the square and round tables and for this table we did a white runner to keep it looking unique and varied the chairs and the drinking glasses. For that modern look we also worked in these clean stripe tapers amongst the flowers.

The mix of long tables, square tables and round tables really makes the room interesting. We did the round table numbers hanging from a lamp which added an unusual twist.

So this gave you an overview of Stephen’s Mitzvah to see what we had to compete with for David’s Mitzvah.
For David, we choose a color palette of white, aqua and lime green. We felt we needed to keep the color palette simple to get a similar yet different look to Stephen’s. Here are some of the sketches we worked up for the client to review prior to going into full speed ahead.

We used a variety of white cylinder vases with white branches and green goddess callas to create this look. Actual photos will follow of this unique event later this week!
This unique design incorporate gladiolas along with multiple white vases.
Creating and Designing a Beautiful Blooms event takes several steps to get to perfection. We first meet with the client to get an overall feel and design for her event. Many times are clients are not sure what they want so we get what they don’t like out of them.
We then sit and ponder and create and come up with a story board or sketches along with colors to show them a feeling. After that we prepare images and sketches to give them a better sense of the overall design. We layer in linens and lighting and voila a beautiful event is born.
Stay tuned for images of David’s completed Mitzvah. It is a beauty with all the details we are known for here at Beautiful Blooms.
Donna,
You and your team did it again. Very nice. I love the clean lines and modern feel. Definitely love the cute square vase wheat grass centerpiece with the pond rocks and gardenia. Great work. Thanks for a wonderful post. Hope you have a great day!
