We like to highlight unique venues that we work in on our blog. I’ve chosen Barclay Prime for today’s blog. The restaurant is a Steven Starr restaurant and is located in the heart of Rittenhouse Square. The space has a really warm feel to it and it is nice for a medium to small event. The color palette is clean so you can really do any color flowers in the space.
For this event, the client choose to keep a clean white color palette which worked beautifully off of the whites and greens of the space. Thank you to Laura Novak for all these beautiful images.
I just had to share this photo as I think it is just so gorgeous! Phalenopsis orchids are exquisite whether used in a bouquet, boutonniere or centerpieces. They are just a classy stylish flower. You will see them used throughout this event.
This crisp green and white look is so fresh. For a natural feel, we spun curly willow inside of the vases.
This vase filled with agapanthus, lilacs, tulips, spray roses and lisianthus is just such a soft chic look. It’s all about the beautiful quality of flowers used. With white flowers you have to be especially careful of the quality as they will show every blemish.
You can create different seating areas as most of the tables can be moved around at Barclay Prime. For this event there was a mix of long tables and round tables.
I love chandeliers and this venue has beautiful clear crystal ones hanging overhead!
I love the green velvet banquettes placed with the marble tables. Since the tables are not that wide we used a thin vase filled with a lush mix of white flowers. We used the venue’s green votives and they were the perfect accent for the dinner tables.
There were varying designs on the round tables. Some tables had one large vase of all white flowers but for the other tables we did 4 different vases of white phalenopsis orchids.
We already started with a great venue so we didn’t have to do a lot! Chic white bouquets of flowers were enough to soften the space. Gina Sole coordinated the layout of the room with the client.
