I was very touched by a phone call we received at the Boutique during the holiday season from a woman who resides in the Art Museum community.
The woman whom I spoke with told me that a local shop owner had passed away and he had been a special part of the community for years. Several people in the community had pulled together and wanted to purchase a wreath which could be given to his partner to show their respect. She told me that the shop owner had great style and they wanted to make sure what was presented matched his style.
It was so nice to hear how a whole community had come together during this very difficult time and wanted to create a special tribute for this person that meant so much to them.

We worked with her and created this sympathy wreath which was decorated with black and silver holiday ornaments and woven with black and silver ribbon. She was pleased with the results and felt that this tribute captured the personality of the shop owner.
