When I first met with Caroline and her father back in May, she told me she wanted a wedding that had a timeless and classic feel. She loved the idea of using rich red and burgundy shades for her December 19 wedding. So off and running we went with these ideas.
Faith West took these beautiful photos of Caroline’s wedding. She had the perfect winter day.

Caroline asked us to create a LARGE bouquet of white and ivory flowers. We used beautiful roses, gardenias, hydrangea, tulips and clusters of stephanotis. Her bouquet was tied with an elegant satin ribbon and finished off with a bow. The bow just seemed fitting for the classic feel she was going after. The bride looked stunning.
The bridesmaids looked beautiful in their champagne dress and their brown stoles. The rich red and burgundy flowers against their stoles looked just gorgeous.

Since it was December, we incorporated some seasonal elements into the bouquets such as ilex berries and cedar. The texture mixed with the roses was just gorgeous. We carried through from the bride’s bouquet the long bows in rich wine satin. I LOVE ribbon! It has to be the finest quality though to really give that shimmer and soft drape.

Look at how cute these Junior Bridesmaids and Flower Girls look. We created smaller versions of the bridesmaids bouquets for these girls. I love their white stoles.

I love this pine cone and cedar boutonniere.
The Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts Historic Building was the venue for Caroline and Joe’s reception.

Every color looks great in this room but the reds and burgundies really looked rich!

These beautiful gold compote bowls were filled with a mix of cedar, ilex berries, roses and mokara orchids. They looked so rich and velvety. We also used our silvery/gold mercury votive cups with the faux votives inside.

I love how the burgundy and red carried through even into the signature cocktail.

Kimberly Fink Events was the day of planner for Caroline and Joe.
We wish the couple much happiness! What a thrill it is to all of us here at Beautiful Blooms to create and design beautiful weddings and events for our clients.
Caroline emailed me and thanked us for making her day….

Gorgeous! What beautiful wedding photography. I really love the photos in the beginning in front of what appears to be a castle. I also love the way the red pops in other photos. Thanks for sharing your beautiful photos.
