Our December Color Story takes up to the gorgeous Conservatory of Winterthur Museum and Country Estate. The scene is set for a wonderful New Years Eve celebration in onyx, gold and emerald colors. My dear friend Kendall and I had fun designing this one with our teams.

This beautiful black and gold swirled linen paired with the gold chair. We created the centerpiece on the table out of leaves and feathers. The cone shape was entirely covered in leaves with black ostrich feathers coming out of the top. Marie Labbancz captured the table beautifully.

The table was accented with a coordinating plates and I love the black napkin rolled into the gold napkin ring. The accent of the black feather adds drama to the table and ties in with the centerpiece design.

Doesn’t it look like fun to be at this party? The model looks fabulous with thanks to Claudia Seyler who did her hair and makeup for the shoot. This fabulous dress is from

I love this bouquet. We created it out of cymbidium orchids, carnations, jet crystals and black feathers. See carnations can be fun. It is a whimsical look but still so elegant.

The boutonniere is made from dendrobium orchids with black feathers. It is a perfect accent to his suit.

These shots that Marie took are just beautiful….

We had such a great time on this shoot! Great team effort. See you in January!

We borrowed the dress from Gabriella New York in NYC. I think if you contact them directly with the photo they would be able to tell you. Isn’t it gorgeous.
