The November Color Story I personally love! When my close friend (and one-time wedding planner) Kendall and I got together to talk color we loved the idea of playing the lavender and purples against gray. We chose Winterthur as the backdrop for our beautiful ceremony shoot photographed by Marie Labbancz. Claudia Seyler made this couple look gorgeous with her wonderful hair and makeup.

I love this soft sheer drape that acted as the backdrop in the arbor. We glued (yes glued) soft lavendar rose petals to this tone on tone sheer fabric. Rose petals where then heavily sprinkled on the steps… so beautiful! Add the candlelight to the petals and you have a wonderfully romantic feel!

The aisle was lined with grey platforms with purple glass vases. I happen to own three of them and love them!! They were filled with mounds of amazing purple hydrangea and accented with with silver mercury candle holders in all sizes and also mounds of lavendar rose petals. I love this new way to line an aisle.

This wonderful dress was from Gabriella New York. Isn’t it gorgeous!
This beautiful bouquet was created from dusty miller, potato vine, brunia berries and purple hydrangea.

His boutonniere is a plum calla lily with silver brunia berries that look like buttons. Great detail if I do say so myself.
Can’t wait to show you December’s color story! That one is coming soon!
