When Jennifer Yaron emailed me last week about an event she was organizing for the non-profit organization FUEL THE CURE  we were happy to help out.  The event was being held at Trust in Old City. FUEL THE CURE’s mission is to create a forum for young professionals to interact in different settings while raising money for various charitable organizations. They strive to motivate these individuals to take action, in order to cultivate a lifestyle of heightened social consciousness and charitable giving.

Last November, the Inaugural Event attracted over 300 young professionals  and they were able to donate over $26,000 to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. This year, all of the proceeds from the event will help fund the Care Until the Cure program which enables Breastcancer.org to reach women and girls in schools, communities, and religious centers with lifesaving information about preventing and reducing their risk of ever being diagnosed with breast cancer.

Jennifer told us that the overall feel for the event would be shades of pink and ethereal. We donated our services and provided light pink carnation balls and arrangements. They just seemed fitting as they are feminine and look like balls of ruffles. Here’s one of our arrangements shown on a cocktail table. Laura Eaton shot all of these wonderful photos last Saturday night.

I love the way the balls of carnations looked placed by the pink vespa that had been donated! What girl wouldn’t want one of these.

Thank you Jennifer for asking to be a part of this event. We were honored and I look forward to next year’s event.
