When Ali and her mom came to meet with us at Beautiful Blooms, she told us right away that she wanted her May wedding to be unique and not typical. She loved the regal beauty of the Ritz Carlton and the architecture and knew that was where she wanted her wedding to be held but wanted to mix the elegance of the venue with whimsical decor.
Thank you to Geoffrey Horowitz of Leap Frog Photography for all of these amazing photos.

Ali’s dress was elegant and regal and she looked gorgeous! Beautiful Blooms created a bright purple and lime green bouquet to add whimsy to her look. Her bouquet was comprised of gorgeous dotted vanda orchids, green dianthus, ladies mantle and muscari.

Ali’s bridesmaids carried a biedermeier style bouquet with rings of muscari, roses, lisianthus and ladies mantle. Another non-traditional detail that Ali added was not doing a traditional mixed bouquet for her girls. This design was so unique.

Scott and Ali went to high school together and reconnected at their 5 year reunion. See…you never know when you will meet someone. Ali is a kindergarten teacher and Scott works as a manager for Jack and Jill ice cream company. They wanted their ceremony to have a intimate feel and loved the idea of using our round wrought iron chuppah structure.

To personalize the chuppah Ali’s grandfather’s tallis was used amongst the decor. We added sheer fabric to our wrought iron structure along with hanging candles, crystals and floral arrangements. I love the unique design.
The guests tossed bags of poppy petals in hour of Ali’s grandfather “poppy” who had passed away prior to her wedding. All of these special touches really personalize a wedding.

The hanging floral centerpiece was a mix of hydrangea, roses, spray roses and spidermums.

The back of the chuppah has strung garlands of dendrobium orchids for that added punch of color. Ali and Scott are a really wonderful couple! We were so excited to create their whimsical wedding this past May.

I love this shot of the chuppah too. The vases filled with patterned, colorful sand with round balls of carnations along with the monogramed aisle runner we had created really just added to the ambiance in the ceremony room. So fun!

Look at this place card table arrangement before it was completed. I have to be honest it took my breath away even before it was done. The vase was filled with strands of crystals with a bright fun arrangement on top of green goddess callas, hydrangea, roses and orchids.

Here is the completed arrangement with gold branches mixed into the arrangement and the cut crystal candle holders with gold pillars placed at the base. Since Ali is a teacher, apples were also placed on the table and mixed amongst the bright colored place cards.

The dinner table centerpieces were large arrangements of fuschia, lime green and purple flowers placed on top of a vase filled with either purple, lime green or fuschia gel crystals topped off with matching color rose petals. Flowers that were incorporated into the designs were lisianthus, hydrangea, roses, amaryanthus, spider mums and orchids. The base of the arrangment was accented with cut crystal candle holders and gold pillars. Just to add one more burst of color we ordered fuschia linen napkins and tied them with striped ribbon. They were a nice accent against the gold matte satin linens we provided for the client.

Within the room, we also had 3 rectangle tables which we made custom table runners for each of them.

To end the night….Ali and Scott had passed ice cream sandwiches and an amazing candy bar. The candy bar we created along with Ali was a true work of art!

Here’s a quote for our bride Ali, “You guys really outdid yourselves, and I cannot thank you enough for the perfect wedding! I have recommended you to everyone I know! Thank you again for everything and for the amazing flowers.”

This is beautiful! Very Impressed
[...] The boutonniere is a combination of mokara orchids, dianthus and green ivy leaves. We all love the texture and color of this boutonniere. At Beautiful Blooms all of our boutonnieres are mini works of art. To see more images of this wedding follow this link. [...]
Absolutely stunning! The grass growing in the glass vases with the lollipops is a great idea.
