Colored Vases-Green

I love the way colored vases really have a personality of their own. The color green is being featured today and look at how great these vases look. They can be used with any color flower.

This vase is a recycled glass vase and it looks great with a single bloom coming out of it or a few blooms. It also looks great with this green cymbidium orchid wreath around it. Notice the sweet hand wired mini green cymbidium orchids hanging from the wreath. I love the texture of the glass and how the green plays off the green. The lovely photo was shot by Marie Labbancz and this photo hangs on the wall of our workshop space.  This vase is also available for sale at the Beautiful Blooms Boutique.

This cluster of three green vases…each with a slightly different shape and size  is so fun. These vases have a very modern feel to them and we have used them for many different looks. This photo shows them at a Bar Mitzvah with green goddess callas, beargrass, tulips, anthiriums and white callas. The green stripe taper candles add just the right light to this arrangement.  This look just wouldn’t be the same in a clear vase. Thanks Johanthan at Studio Nine for capturing this great look.

This lime green cube vase is so simple yet the yellow flowers just jump out of it. The color is so bright and the bouquet of yellow pin cushion proteas, yellow freesia and yellow craspedia balls looks so fresh in the green vase.  Thanks to Marie Labbancz for capturing this look for us.

So when you think only a glass vase will do…think again…color is a new way to look at things and it really enhances the flowers and can help to create a mood.
