Beautiful Blooms was so thrilled to be asked by Roy’s Restaurant in Philadelphia to team up with them on this amazing cause. PAWS is definitely a charity that is close to my heart as animals play an important role here at Beautiful Blooms. Most of you know that my Bernese Mountain Dog comes to work with me every day and can be seen on our website! Below I have listed some info on exactly what the event was about and if you didn’t get a chance to attend this year. I hope you will next year.
When the team went about designing this event (this was Maya’s main focus a few weeks prior to the event) She worked with Bill on the specific flower types need to make the look work) and then presented sketches of our ideas first. Once we knew that Roy’s was onboard with us the work began to collect and organize all of the product needed.

Monday the whole team went to the Hyatt Penns Landing…..Keith and Jake unloaded all everything in the vans and brought it upstairs to the ballroom. Bill started right in on placing the bamboo and getting those amazing monstero leaves, ginger and hanging heliconia into the 4 large arrangements while Maya and I started adding the gorgeous red anthirium to the metal structures. We continue to use these wonderful metal structures in so many different ways, that Bill used for his exhibit at the flower show. The final piece of the design was the hanging of the lanterns and the lighting of the candles. We were all so pleased with the end result.
Now here is how the event actually turned out. Thank you Marie Labbancz for coming down and photographing this amazing event!
