Maya has been with Beautiful Blooms now for two years. How time flies! She began her career with Beautiful Blooms as our receptionist and has since become my assistant and so much more. Almost of all of our clients interact with Maya at some point during the course of time leading up to their wedding or event. Maya pretty much knows everything that is in my head so that if I am not in the office she can answer any of our clients’ questions.
Recently Maya has also become very involved in working with me on the creation of several of our events. She has extensive knowledge of lighting, draping, rentals, design details and so much more. She knows what I like and what I don’t like to see at events and weddings. Once she gets in my head she is off and running on an event.

An artist by trade, Maya holds a BFA in General Fine Arts from the Maryland Institute College of Art. Prior to coming to Beautiful Blooms she worked with one of the top event designers in the Philadelphia area. Her art school background paired with her innate problem-solving ability makes her a perfect fit for the Beautiful Blooms team. On any given day you might find her creating spreadsheets, sketching centerpiece ideas, sourcing materials, writing client contracts, designing gobos, drawing floor plans, overseeing event setups, picking out linens or even sometimes painting a mural.
